Coastline running tracks, environmental desert running streets and network clubs galore, Dubai cherishes a decent run. There are a lot of areas to browse, including the advanced cityscapes of Dubai Marina, lavish greens of Safa Park and padded path close by Jumeirah Beach Road.
The notable green springy track on Jumeirah Beach Road is one of the wellness wonders of Dubai. Simple on the legs, the track extends over 14km, beginning at the Burj Al Arab, down past Kite Beach and over the new Dubai Water Canal. There is useful signage each 100 meters so you realize how far you’ve ventured out and how far to go.
2.THE PALM JUMEIRAH
One of the more abnormal running spots in Dubai is out along the Palm Jumeirah, the synthetic private, lodging and excitement complex looking like a palm that stretches over 5km out into the Arabian Gulf. There are two courses to look over. The 4km shoreline, all over the ‘storage compartment’ is all the more relaxed, while the 11km ‘sickle’ run along the tip of the Palm is somewhat more testing, yet has increasingly fantastic view.
The 4.5km track at the Dubai Marina is a landscape focal, particularly in the winter months. On one side are present-day, sparkling high rises, and on the other are perspectives on the waters specked with extravagance cruisers and conventional specialty. There is no light track here, so wear great elastic soled sprinters.
4.THE CITY’S PARKS
There are numerous verdant spots in Dubai, ideal for a morning, daytime or night run. The pick of these is Safa Park, strategically placed midtown, somewhere between the Burj Khalifa and Jumeirah Beach. It’s a short 3.5km however the earth-red track is decent and light, and there are various exercise stations en route.
